Part 1 A Qualitative vs. Quantitative, Dimensional Analysis, and Growth

Qualitative # 1

The petals on this rose are yellow and the leaves are green. Both the petals and the leaves of this rose bush have water on them because it has recently been watered.

Quantitative # 1

The petal on the rose is 1.5 inches long.
The petal on the rose is 1.2 inches wide.
Qualitative # 2

The leaves on this grape vine are green and the bark of the vine is brown.

 Quantitative # 2

The leaf on the grape vine is 4.5 inches wide.

The leaf on the grape vine is 4.7 inches long.

Part B.     Dimensional Analysis

Step 1 - Convert pounds to grams
Step 2 - 1 pound = 453.592 grams
Step 3/4 - 4 pounds = 1814.37 grams so a 4 pound fish would weight 1814.37 grams.

Part c.      Linear vs. Exponential Growth
